STAFF's ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Dr. V.D. Barhate (Chemistry Department) is recognized as a Research guide for Ph.D. by University of Mumbai  from the academic year 2009. Two students have registered for PhD under his guidance.
  • Dr. (Mrs.) Suniti Nagpurkar (HOD of Economics Department) along with a team of 2 students was awarded a prize by WTI (We Think for India, an NGO) for submission of a paper on "Draft National Manufacturing Sector Policy 2003" at the All India Competition organized by the above body.

  • Dr. (Mrs.) Anita Kanwar (Physics Department) received 1st prize for Best Oral Presentation for her paper "Phase transitions in the Polymer Dispersed Cholesteric Liquid Crystals" at the National Conference on Physics of Semiconductor Devices and Smart Materials-NC-PSDSM in 2007 at Mumbai.
  • Aarohi P.  (Psychology Department) paper on 'Empowerment of sexually abused women' at Birla College at the seminar held on 22nd and 23rd Jan., 2010 where her paper was adjudged as one of the best papers.
  • Meghana Sanjeeva (Librarian) received highly commended from 2010 Emerald Indian LIS Research Fund Award for her Research proposal "The Evolving World of Scholarly Communication: Impact and Implications for Academic and Research Libraries".
