She is IQAC Coordinator and convener of ACP. She presented a poster in the "Second Peoples Education Congress" Aug. 05-08 2009. The title of the poster was “Mind map for mathematics,” the abstract of the poster was published in the proceedings of the Seminar.
She gave an invited talk titled “A dialogue on effective interplay of skill and knowledge in Math education at undergraduate level” at National Conference on Mathematical Modeling and Computer Stimulation on March 25-27, 2011.
She presented a poster titled “A dialogue on effective interplay of skill and knowledge in Math education at undergraduate level revisited” at the NIME (National Initiative in Mathematics Education) held at HBCSE on January 20-22, 2012.

Diverse teaching methods adopted
Department caters to Science students as well as Commerce students. Therefore diverse teaching methods are adopted depending on the need and size of the class.
Regular tutorial classes held in smaller batches for Science as well as Commerce students
During these tutorial sessions students are encouraged to make presentations on various topics.
Problem solving sessions are held.
Remedial sessions are held with students who find it difficult to cope with the subject
M3 Contest
A splendid annual quiz contest - M3, which signifies a competition for the title of Math Muscle Man, is an hour long Math quiz contest organized by the department.
Mathemight
An intercollegiate academic event, a glorious and regular feature of the department of Mathematics. Highlight of the event is paper presentation by undergraduate students of Mathematics on the theme “Surprises in mathematics and their application.”

Mathematics department is happy to announce that one of its students Mr. Aditya Garg bagged the third rank among the top sixteen students from Pune and Mumbai Region in the Madhava Mathematics Competition held on 3rd Jan, 2010.
- Mr.Aditya and Mr.Nitin of S.Y.B.Sc. participated in the Math fest organized by ' National College' in Feb 2010. The topic presented by Aditya was “Euler's Formula for Polyhedra & related topics ' and he won the second prize in this intercollegiate event were a number of students participated from all over Mumbai city. The topic selected by Nitin was 'Hamilton Circuit on n-dimensional Cube', which was well appreciated .
- Mr.Pawan and Shailendra Singh of S.Y.B.Sc. were awarded first prize in Mathemight 2012 for their paper presentation on the topic: “Everywhere continuous but nowhere differentiable function”.
- Mr.Vineet and Soumik of S.Y.B.Sc. also presented a paper on “Use of mathematics in cricket” at Mathemight 2012 and won the third prize for the same.
